With energy prices having increased dramatically in the last decade, having energy efficient double glazing can save the average family household hundreds of pounds a year. All our windows are compliant to the latest building regulations and we now fit Low ‘E’ glass on all windows we install. Low ‘E’ glass (known as Low Emissivity) varies from normal glass in that one side has a microscopically thin coating of metal oxide. This increases the thermal efficiency as it reflects the radiant heat on the same side of the glass it originated. Our system achieves a U-Value of 1.6W/m2k with standard glass or 1.1W/m2k with the addition of a Low E soft coat, Argon gas & warm edge Swiss-spacer bar which now offer as standard.
