| With
energy prices having increased dramatically in the last decade, having
energy efficient double glazing can save the average family household
hundreds of pounds a year. All our windows are compliant to the latest
building regulations and we now fit Low ‘E’ glass on all windows
we install. Low ‘E’ glass (known as Low Emissivity) varies
from normal glass in that one side has a microscopically thin coating
of metal oxide. This increases the thermal efficiency as it reflects the
radiant heat on the same side of the glass it originated. Our system achieves
a U-Value of 1.6W/m2k with standard Low E glass or 1.1W/m2k with the addition
of Argon filled units & warm edge spacer bar.
The type of windows
available to you is extensive, and effective use of windows can literally
transform the look of your home both inside and out. It’s not until
you look at the styles we have to offer that you realise just what is
available. You may already have a clear idea of what you are looking for
or you may need some ideas, either way talk to one of our friendly experts
who will be more than happy to help.
All of our fitting
teams are employed by Fife Windows & Doors Ltd, not subcontracted,
so we can be sure that the customer will receive a first class installation
by a fully qualified joiner. All carpets or flooring in the property are
covered with dust sheets and all debris is taken away.
